Cambridge Music and Arts is looking for qualified, innovative and passionate music teachers to join our team.

We are looking for teachers (part-time position) that are energetic, creative and passionate about impacting future instrumentalists. We believe learning to play an instrument should be an inspirational, enjoyable and collaborative process and are committed to developing creative, self-motivated and accomplished musicians who delight in discovering more about music.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Performance or Music Education

  • Minimum 1 year Teaching experience

  • Experience working with children

  • Having high standard of music instrument performance

  • Good communication skills, in both spoken and written English

  • Friendly approachable personality

  • Good time management, communication and organization skills

  • Should be prepared to enter students into graded examinations or competitions

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high quality private and group lessons that are appropriate to the level, age and development track of individual students, including both classical and contemporary music.

  • Continue the development of personal playing and teaching skills through study, practice and training.

  • Integrate music theory in the lesson. 

  • Complete written reports for students and communicate with parents about students’ progress.

  • Applicants must be willing to develop as teachers, undergo training and, where appropriate, work towards gaining qualifications.
